Zelenskyy: Enemy suffers over 38,000 casualties, incl 15,000 killed on Kursk axis in 5 months of operation

Over five months of the Kursk operation, the enemy's losses amounted to over 38,000 soldiers, of which about 15,000 were killed in this direction, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.
"The second is the Kursk operation. Today is exactly five months since the beginning of our actions in Kursk region, and we are maintaining a buffer zone on Russian territory, actively destroying Russian military potential there. During the Kursk operation, the enemy has already lost more than 38,000 of its soldiers – only in this one axis, of which about 15,000 irretrievably," Zelenskyy said in an evening video address on Monday.
The president recalled that Russia had transferred its strong units to Kursk region, and soldiers from North Korea were also involved there.
"It is important that the occupier cannot now direct all of this force to our other directions, in particular to Donetsk region, in particular against Sumy, in particular to Kharkiv region or Zaporizhia," the head of state said.
He thanked all the soldiers who are bringing the war home to Russia and giving more security and strength to Ukraine.
