Germany sends new package of military assistance to Ukraine

Germany has announced a new batch of weapons and equipment for Ukraine, according to the press service of the German Government.
According to the published list, the package includes air defense systems: one air defense system IRIS-T SLM and missiles for it, one air defense system IRIS-T SLS (each consisting of two launchers) and missiles for it, two PATRIOT launchers, two self-propelled anti-aircraft guns GEPARD with spare parts and ammunitions for them, two air surveillance radars TRML-4D, guided AIM-9L/I-1 Sidewinder missiles.
Germany will also supply 15 LEOPARD 1 A5 main battle tanks with spare parts and ammunition, 30 Mine Resistant Ambush Protected Vehicles (MRAP), one self-propelled howitzers Panzerhaubitze 2000 with spare parts, ammunition for main battle tanks LEOPARD 2. The package also includes seven air assault vehicles Caracal, five AMPS self-protection systems for helicopters, 45 underwater scooter, and one border protection vehicle. Ukraine will also receive twelve trucks and eight tankers Zetros.
Also, the new aid package includes 4.3 million rounds of ammunition for fire arms, 53,000 rounds 155mm ammunition, 20,000 rounds 40mm ammunition, 15,000 120mm mortar ammunition, 4,580 anti-tank mines, 120 grenade launchers GMG, 200 machine guns MG4, 420 assault riffles MK 556, 90 precision rifles HLR 338 and 314,000 rounds ammunition for them, 100 rifles CR 308.
The assistance package includes drones of various types: 30 reconnaissance drones VECTOR with spare parts, 24 reconnaissance drones RQ-35 HEIDRUN, and 14 reconnaissance drones HORNET XR.
In addition, the package includes emergency power generators, 50 tents, tourniquets, and mine clearing systems.
