Ukraine must rely, first of all, on itself in a war with Russia, deputy commander of the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Rodion Kudryashov.

"I greatly respect and appreciate the help of our partners, which is key. But addressing the youth and everyone here in the hall, I want to emphasize that we must first and foremost rely on ourselves, improve ourselves, arm ourselves, and go to victory ourselves," he said during the 10th Youth Kyiv Security Forum, organized by Arseniy Yatsenyuk's Open Ukraine Foundation.

The military man noted that he is proud of those units that are switching to modern management methods.

"We will never be able to defeat the great Soviet army with a small Soviet army. We can only win by developing, only by working and by focusing on quality, not quantity," Kudryashov pointed out.

He addressed the youth present so that they would have the strength and power to develop, learn and improve themselves every day.

“As for patriotic education and youth development, I will say this: I personally, together with the entire leadership of Azov and the third assault brigade, have devoted and continue to devote a lot of time to this,” he said.
