Yermak suggests creating council for cultural sector under President’s Office
Head of the President’s Office of Ukraine Andriy Yermak proposes to create a council at the Office of the President that will deal with the problems of the cultural sector, the press service of the President’s Office reported.
“Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak held a video meeting with leaders of national cultural institutions, artistic directors, directors, actors, singers, musicians, and producers. The meeting was also attended by Deputy Head of the Office of the President Olena Kovalska,” a message posted on the website of the President of Ukraine on Thursday reads.
According to the message, Yermak emphasized the significant contribution of Ukrainian cultural figures in the fight against the Russian aggressor. "It is very important that you do not stop working. People in Ukraine and around the world feel this. Culture during wartime is crucial because it is people's faith and the identification of Ukraine," said the Head of the Office of the President.
Yermak noted that our country remains at the center of the world's attention, which opens up great opportunities for expanding the influence of Ukrainian cultural products. He proposed establishing a council under the Office of the President to address issues in the cultural sector.
"For the President and our entire team, Ukrainian culture and its development are among the priorities. So let’s communicate and solve all the issues related to culture. Your position and your thoughts are very important to us," emphasized the Head of the Office of the President.
