National joint-stock company Naftogaz Ukrainy and municipal enterprise Kyivteploenergo have prepared a working version of the amicable agreement and waiting that it would be approved by Kyiv's business court, the press service of Kyiv City Administration has reported, referring to Deputy Administration Head Petro Panteleyev.

"Today, a working version of the amicable agreement with Naftogaz was prepared. The agreement must be approved by the business court of Kyiv. The hearing is scheduled for October 10. After the ruling is received, gas supply contracts will be signed and heat supply facilities will be resumed - CHPP-6 and almost 200 boiler houses," the press service said.

According to the Kyiv City Administration, on October 3, the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine transferred funds to pay off the difference in tariffs for thermal energy that arose during the operation of the Kyiv's energy complex by PJSC Kyivenergo to Naftogaz. "This, in turn, allows us to resolve the issue of fines and penalties that have been accrued on the principal of the debt to Naftogaz," the press service said, citing Panteleyev.
