Court postpones hearing of Antonov's claim against Samara-based Aviacor for Jan 14

The arbitration court of Samara region has postponed the hearing of the claim filed by Antonov Aviation Concern against OJSC Aviacor (Samara, Russia) to collect $5.35 million of debt for royalty for January 14, 2016.

The hearing was postponed under the petition of representatives of Antonov, as Aviacor proposed that the amicable agreement is signed between the plants.

"Antonov State Enterprise received a letter from Aviacor asking to sign the amicable agreement in litigation. We've asked the judge to postpone the hearing to allow the sides to consider the conditions of the agreement and maybe approved them," director of the law department of Antonov State Enterprise Ihor Dehtiarenko said.

He said that the debt of Aviacor for royalty has been formed since 2012 (Antonov is the designer of An-140 aircraft made by Aviacor).

Dehtiarenko said that the conditions of the amicable agreement foresee the payment of the debt in installments and the reduction of the royalty.

"Antonov State Enterprise is preparing the counter offer. Soon it will be sent to Aviacor," he said.

As reported, Antonov filed the claim on August 20 and the court accepted it on August 27.

Aviacor is the only aircraft building asset of Russian Machines. It produces, repairs and services aircraft of the Tu-154 and An-140 aircraft families.

Antonov is part of Ukroboronprom concern. It realizes the full cycle of aircraft creation – from designing to mass production and post-sale service.
