Aegean Airlines to launch flights from Athens to Kyiv with 2013 summer schedule

Greece's Aegean Airlines plans from April 5, 2013 to launch flights between Athens and Kyiv, according to a report in the booking system of the airline.

The report says that the airline will fly twice a week to Kyiv (Zhuliany) airport.

As reported, Aegean Airlines from April 3, 2013 will launch flights between Kyiv and Larnaca (Cyprus).

Earlier AeroSvit performed flights between Kyiv and Larnaca, although in the first half of January 2013 many flights of AeroSvit were canceled and from January 15, 2013 the airline's route narrowed from some 80 international flights to two domestic routes and a dozen of international flights. On January 16, 2013 AeroSvit said that it was introducing a temporary flight schedule until January 31, 2013.

From April 1, 2013, Ukraine International Airline will start flying to Athens four times a week.

Aegean Airlines, founded in 1987, is the largest private airline in Greece.
