A Russian attack on Monday morning on the Northern Mining and Processing Plant (Kryvy Rih, Dnipropetrovsk region), part of the Metinvest group, resulted in the death of 10 people and over 30 injuries.

"In the morning of July 8, a Russian missile struck the administrative building of Northern Mining Plant, part of the Metinvest group, in Kryvy Rih. As of 12:30, it is known that 10 people have died and more than 30 were injured," the company said.

All those injured in the Russian terrorist attack were immediately taken to a city hospital. Due to the enemy attack, the dining hall lobby of the plant's administration building was damaged, and windows were shattered. Currently, debris removal is underway.

The Metinvest group expresses condolences to all the affected individuals and their families. The company will provide comprehensive assistance to the injured employees and the families of the deceased.

As reported, 41 people were injured in Kryvy Rih as a result of a heavy missile attack by Russian occupiers. "Efforts are underway to address the aftermath of the enemy missile attack. The fire has been extinguished, and we are beginning to clear the debris. Currently, there are 10 deceased – six women and four men. Some 41 are injured, including nine in grave condition," wrote the head of the Kryvy Rih City Military Administration, Oleksandr Vilkul, on Telegram.

Northern Mining Plant specializes in the extraction, processing, and production of iron ore raw materials. It is part of the Metinvest group, whose main shareholders are System Capital Management JSC (SCM, Donetsk) (71.24%) and the Smart Holding group of companies (23.76%).
