According to available intelligence data, the Russian Federation is preparing to carry out another provocation at Zaporizhia nuclear power plant (ZNPP) - another operation under a false flag, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on the Telegram channel.

"In recent weeks alone, Russia has already tried several times to shift responsibility to Ukraine for using drones to attack ZNPP facilities. These are deliberate Russian actions that continue the Russian practice of blackmailing our state and the entire international community with the risk of a disaster at the ZNPP," the message says.

The General Staff stated that Ukraine had always had responsible approach to the safety of nuclear facilities. "Only the return of the ZNPP to the control of Ukraine is able to restore the real safety of the station," the message says.

"As long as Russian terrorists are at the ZNPP, keep their military equipment there and can carry out their operations, the safety of the station cannot be guaranteed," the General Staff concluded.
