Two people killed, eight injured as result of Russian shelling in Khmelnytsky – Interior Ministry
Two civilians were killed and eight injured as a result of shelling by Russian occupiers in the city of Khmelnytsky on Friday morning, Ukrainian Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko said.
"As of now, it is known about two dead and at least eight injured in Khmelnytsky," Klymenko wrote on Telegram on Friday.
The message is illustrated by a video of the rescue of a 21-year-old girl from the rubble of a private house.
According to the minister, the occupiers attacked infrastructure facilities in Ukraine in the morning, residential buildings were destroyed. Zaporizhia, Khmelnytsky, Odesa, Dnipropetrovsk, Poltava, Mykolaiv, Vinnytsia, Lviv and Ivano-Frankivsk regions were under enemy attacks.
"Now all our services are involved in eliminating the consequences of the attack. We use robotic equipment in dangerous areas to minimize injuries to rescuers. Every citizen, if necessary, can seek help from the departments of the State Emergency Service and the National Police," Klymenko said.
