Russians destroy Epicenter shopping center in Nikopol

In Nikopol, the Epicenter shopping center was destroyed in a Russian attack on Wednesday, March 6, the press service of the retail chain has reported.

"Despite the difficult situation in the city, we continued to work so that people could provide themselves with essential goods. It hurts to realize that a place where hundreds of people invested a lot of their own efforts and labor turned into a dump in a moment. People lost their jobs, and residents lost a bastion of stability," Director of Retail at Epicenter K LLC Dmytro Tanko said.

Fortunately, no casualties are reported.

Later, Head of Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration Serhiy Lysak reported that the fire in the Nikopol shopping center had been extinguished.

According to Lysak, firefighters fought the fire for over five hours with a team of 70 people.

The destroyed shopping center was one of the largest retail facilities in the city with an area of over 5,100 square meters, which supplied essential goods to all nearby populated areas and continued to operate since the beginning of the full-scale invasion.
