URCS volunteers participate in rescue operation in Odesa at site of residential building damaged by Russian drone

The Emergency Response Team of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society (URCS) of Odesa region is participating in a rescue operation at the site of a multi-storey residential building damaged as a result of a Russian drone strike in the regional center on the night from Friday to Saturday.

"The Emergency Response Team of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society (URCS) of Odesa region is working on the spot together with other rescue services. The team of volunteers is participating in the rescue operation. A tent has been installed where they provide first aid and first psychological assistance to the victims," the service said on Facebook on Saturday. As noted by URCS, people can also charge gadgets and drink tea in the tent.

The search and rescue operation continues.

As reported, four people, including a child, were killed as a result of a Russian drone hitting a multi-storey residential building. Eight people were injured, including a child. Five people were saved.
