India hands over16th batch of humanitarian aid to Ukraine

Indian Ambassador to Ukraine Sri Harsh Kumar Jain handed over the 16th batch of humanitarian aid from India, which will be transferred to Ukrainian hospitals.

According to the Interfax-Ukraine agency at the Indian Embassy, the humanitarian aid includes, in particular, diagnostic and medical equipment, including a portable X-ray machine, an X-ray machine with a C-Arm fluoroscope, an electrohydraulic operating table, a color Doppler ultrasound system and others.

Humanitarian aid from India was provided to Sumy Regional Clinical Hospital and Krolevetsky Town Council Hospital at the request of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

"India attaches paramount importance to providing humanitarian assistance to the people of Ukraine at this difficult time in accordance with the human-centered approach of the Government of India, the central tenet of Indian national beliefs and values that perceive the whole world as one family," the Ambassador stressed.
