All Ukraine's partners must assume security obligations – Frederiksen
Europe and other international partners of Ukraine must assume security obligations for Ukraine, Danish Prime Minister Matte Frederiksen said on Friday in Lviv after negotiations with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
"We are the first ordinary country to sign a ten-year security cooperation agreement with Ukraine, which provides for long-term cooperation between Denmark and Ukraine. And I think there will be many more such partners who will do the same," she said.
"These security commitments are an absolute necessity. Both Europe and other international partners must take on these obligations and fulfill their promises," the Danish Prime Minister said.
According to her, Denmark "is working on the production of ammunition, weapons, and here and in Ukraine we have opened new production facilities in this direction, because we must cooperate clearly in order to defend ourselves and repel the enemy."
"Just a few days ago we saw the true face of Putin and the Russian regime. So allies and partners must act, we must give more and deliver on the commitments we have given because you cannot win a war on words alone, there must be action behind it," she also said.
