Minister of Defense of Ukraine Rustem Umerov and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksand Syrsky had a conversation with Supreme Commander of the NATO Armed Forces in Europe, General Christopher Cavoli, and Commander of the Security Assistance Group Ukraine, Lieutenant General Antonio Aguto.

“A clear and substantive conversation. We discussed our military plans for 2024. The Commander-in-Chief announced the priorities. Among them are the optimization of the structure of the Armed Forces, improvement of the quality of training of our military, additional staffing of existing brigades and creation of new ones, supplying of regular needs in weapons and equipment,” Umerov wrote on his Facebook page on Tuesday evening.

The parties also discussed the constant increase in electronic warfare equipment to level the threat of enemy UAVs and ensure the rotation of fighters at the front.

“There is a lot of work to be done and decisions to be made ahead, necessary for our victory,” the defense minister said.
