Russia keeping two ships on combat duty in Black Sea, incl one "Kalibr" missile carrier – AFU Navy

The Russian army keeps two ships on combat duty in the Black Sea, including one Kalibr missile carrier, with a total salvo of eight missiles, the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said as of 7:30 of Friday.

"There are two enemy ships in the Black Sea, including one carrier of Kalibr cruise missiles, a total salvo of up to eight missiles, one enemy ship in the Sea of Azov, two enemy ships in the Mediterranean Sea, including one carrier of Kalibr cruise missiles, a total salvo of up to eight missiles," the message reads.

In addition, according to the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, during the day, in the interests of Russia, the passage of the Kerch Strait was carried out: 13 vessels entered the Sea of Azov, nine of them were moving from the Bosphorus Strait. There were 10 vessels in the Black Sea, seven of them continued to move in the direction of the Bosphorus Strait.

It is emphasized that the Russian Federation continues to violate the 1974 International Convention for the Safety of Human Life at Sea (SOLAS) by turning off automatic identification systems (AIS).
