France has a number of proposals on humanitarian demining of Ukraine and intends to send an adviser to its embassy in Ukraine who will deal with these issues, the press service of the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine reported.

"We are grateful for the political, humanitarian and military support that Ukraine has received from France since the beginning of the Russian aggression. Including for assistance and cooperation in the field of humanitarian demining, in particular, the training of our pyrotechnics. We see a great interest of French companies in working in Ukraine in the field of mine clearance, restoration, interest in establishing contacts and creating joint ventures with Ukrainian business," First Deputy Prime Minister of Economy Yulia Svyrydenko said at a meeting with French Interior Minister Gerald Darmanin in Paris on Thursday.

According to Darmanin, several French companies from the humanitarian demining industry are already working in Ukraine. Other French companies are also considering this possibility. The French government will communicate with them so that they are more actively involved in this process.

According to the report, France is also ready to train Ukrainian pyrotechnics. In particular, sappers specializing in underwater mine clearance. In addition, the training of dogs that help in mine clearance is well developed in the country, so French specialists are ready to provide Ukraine with assistance in this direction as well.

The issue of sending the frozen assets of the aggressor state to restore or compensate for the damage caused by Russia was separately discussed.
