Denmark has sent the 13th package of military aid to Ukraine in the amount of DKK 3.7 billion (equivalent to $520 million), which includes tanks, infantry fighting vehicles, artillery ammunition, drones and small arms.

The package also includes armored recovery vehicles, the supply of which is financed in cooperation with Germany, the Danish Ministry of Defense said on Thursday.

"Ukraine can count on Denmark's unwavering support in the fight for freedom. This is support that is critical to the continuation of Ukraine's struggle. This donation also sends an important signal to both Ukraine and Russia that we are not losing attention [to Ukraine], although most of the world's attention these days is directed towards Israel and Palestine," said Danish Foreign Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen.

Based on Ukraine's need for additional 155 mm artillery ammunition, more propellant charges from the Danish Ministry of Defense stockpile are also proposed.

The report emphasizes that these are equipment and types of ammunition that are in demand by Ukraine and are critical to maintaining its ground combat power.

“I met with my Ukrainian counterpart in Kyiv on Tuesday. It was on the basis of ongoing negotiations that the 13th Danish aid package was drawn up,” said Danish Defense Minister Troels Lund Poulsen.
