Enemy preliminarily uses Iskander ballistic missiles during attack on Kyiv – Ihnat
When attacking Kyiv, the enemy uses Iskander missiles, possibly S-300 or S-400, which fly along a ballistic trajectory, Yuriy Ihnat, spokesman for the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, has said.
"Everyone noticed that there was a short period of time between the announcement of the alarm and the start of the attack. This indicates that missiles were used that fly along a ballistic trajectory. That is, they arrive quite quickly. Preliminary, these were Iskanders," he said on the air of the national telethon on Monday.
Ihnat noted that Iskanders come in various modifications. "There is the Iskander M, a ballistic missile, and there is the Iskander K, a cruise missile. Which one was used, we will say later after a detailed analysis and completion of the attack," he said.
"There is also the possibility that S-300 and S-400 missiles were used, which can also fly along a ballistic trajectory," the speaker of the Air Force Command said.
