Over the past day on Tuesday, November 22, the Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled the attacks of Russian invaders in the area of ​​11 settlements of Luhansk and Donetsk regions. In Bakhmut and Avdiyivka directions, the enemy is concentrating forces for an offensive; in Kharkiv region, it unsuccessfully tried to conduct reconnaissance of the subversive reconnaissance unit, which the Ukrainian military liquidated, the General Staff said.

"Over the past 24 hours, units of the Defense Forces repelled attacks by invaders in the areas of the settlements of Bilohorivka, Luhansk region and Berestove, Bakhmut, Kurdiumivka, Novobakhmutivka, Krasnohorivka, Pervomaiske, Nivelske and Maryinka, Donetsk region," the AFU said in the statement on Wednesday morning.

The General Staff said that in Kharkiv region, the enemy made an attempt to penetrate a sabotage and reconnaissance group in the area of ​​​​the village of Starytsia. "The subversive reconnaissance unit was neutralized by the fire of our units. The enemy retreated," the Ukrainian military said.

On Bakhmut and Avdiyivsk directions, the enemy is concentrating his main efforts on conducting offensive operations.

On Novopavlivsk and Zaporizhia directions, the enemy is on the defensive.

In Kryvy Rih and Kherson directions, the enemy is conducting positional defense, improving the fortification equipment of positions.

"Additional equipment by the enemy of defensive lines along the section of Kakhovka-Melitopol highway, Kherson and Zaporizhia regions is observed," the General Staff said.

It is also noted that in Sevastopol, on the basis of one of the educational institutions, the training of operators of unmanned aerial vehicles of both Russian and Iranian production continues. The training period for these specialists is up to three weeks. About 30 servicemen are currently being trained.

The General Staff said the occupying troops continue to suffer losses. In particular, in the village of Kalanchak, Kherson region, the local hospital does not have enough beds to accommodate the wounded invaders.

According to updated information, on November 21, 2022 the destruction of an enemy S-300 anti-aircraft missile system and five units of various types of military equipment near the settlement of Polohy was confirmed in Zaporizhia region, in addition, 40 servicemen were injured. The checkpoint of the occupiers was destroyed not far from Vesele, Zaporizhia region, some 15 servicemen were injured of various degrees of severity. In Melitopol, enemy losses amounted to 30 people wounded.

Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian aviation has delivered three strikes on the areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment of the invaders, and the soldiers of the missile forces and artillery hit the enemy's command post.
