The Russian Federation continues its armed aggression against Ukraine, shelling peaceful villages and towns in Polohy district of Zaporizhia region.

"The civilian infrastructure of the settlements Mala Tokmachka, Orikhiv is shelled by the invaders almost every day. Many houses, shops and other buildings are destroyed," the Facebook page of Zaporizhia regional administration reported on Tuesday.

Rescuers of the State Emergency Service extinguished a fire in the School of Arts in the village of Inzhenerne, Polohy district. As a result of shelling by Russian invaders, the attic of the establishment caught fire.

"We have received information that the men of the temporarily occupied Melitopol are being sent fake summonses to serve in the so-called 'people's militia," the report says.

"In the temporarily occupied city of Polohy, the occupiers seized and mined the inner territory of the central district hospital. Medical personnel and patients were forbidden to return to the institution. It is interesting that wounded Russian soldiers remained in the hospital," the report says.

According to information from the headquarters of the Defense Forces of Ukraine, as of the evening of April 4, 2022 and the morning of April 5, 2022, units of the Defense Forces of the Zaporizhia Region demolished 24 invaders, six armored combat vehicles, five cars, five Russian servicemen were wounded.

"In addition, one armored combat vehicle was captured, a satellite communications station and an enemy ammunition depot near the village of Staromlynivka were destroyed," the report says.
