3 Russian planes, 3 UAVs, 1 helicopter, 2 cruise missiles destroyed by Ukrainian air defense in 24 hours – Air Force Command
On Tuesday, March 15, the air defense of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed three aircraft, three UAVs, one helicopter and two cruise missiles of the invaders. Nine Ukrainian air raids were carried out on columns of enemy equipment and concentrations of enemy troops.
"On March 15, the air defense forces of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed three aircraft of Russian fighters. One has not yet been indetified, and two are Su-34 fighter bombers. One enemy helicopter, three operational-tactical UAVs and two cruise missiles were also shot down," the Air Force Command said on its Facebook page on Wednesday night.
The aircraft of the Air Force carried out missile and bomb strikes against ground targets.
"A tactical group consisting of Su-24m bombers, Su-25 attack aircraft, Mi-24 helicopters of army aviation, under the cover of fighters, carried out nine air raids on columns of enemy equipment and concentrations of Russian troops," the Command said.
