Russian invaders intimidate residents of temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine – Denisova

Russian invaders are using the tactics of intimidation of residents of the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, Liudmyla Denisova, Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights, reports.

In particular, in Energodar, Russian militants turned off the danger warning system for the population, attacks on residents continue, when checking cars, the invaders break the front glass if it is tinted, and also take away mobile devices.

In Trostianka, Sumy region, Russian invaders are driving local residents into fake "green corridors" and trying to create "human" shields with their help. Those who disagree are taken prisoner.

Armed Russian soldiers also break into houses, knock out windows, doors, tell people that if they do not leave their homes, it will be worse that they need to leave for the territory of the Russian Federation. Thus, the Russians are trying to create a picture for propaganda.

Residents of temporarily occupied Kherson region are sent messages with threats and demands to cooperate with the "new government."

"Massacre and abuse of civilians is a war crime, defined by the Charter of the International Military Tribunal and the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court, and a violation of the norms of the Geneva Convention for the Protection of Civilian Persons in Time of War. I ask the international community to take these facts into account when increasing pressure on the terrorist state to end the war and withdraw the army of Russian invaders from Ukraine," Denisova wrote on Facebook.
