Participation in an extraordinary meeting of the European Council on Foreign Affairs, convened because of the war unleashed by Russia against Ukraine, will be attended by NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, the heads of the foreign affairs agencies of the United States, Canada, Great Britain and Ukraine.

This follows from the agenda of the meeting, made public by the European Council on Friday.

"The council will discuss the latest developments regarding Russian aggression against Ukraine and the next steps. In the context of this discussion, EU Foreign Ministers will have an informal exchange of views with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba, who will join via videoconference, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, British Foreign Ministers Elizabeth Truss and Mélanie Joly, who are present at the Brussels," the announcement said.

The meeting will be chaired by EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell.
