U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba touched upon the issue of Ukraine's security needs during a telephone conversation, the Department of State said.
"They also discussed [Ukraine's] additional security, economic, and humanitarian support needs," the report said.
They discussed "the remarkable resolve and actions taken by nations around the world to support the Government of Ukraine and the Ukrainian people," it said.

Grateful to the U.S. for working on additional financial aid for Ukraine. Russia must cease hostilities to allow opening of humanitarian corridors."
