Representatives of Ukrainian agribusiness have called on their colleagues from other countries to stop economic relations with Russian companies, since the Russian Federation uses the money received in the agricultural sector to wage war in Ukraine and crimes against humanity.

The text of the open appeal of associations and enterprises of the agrarian and food industry of Ukraine to international colleagues was published on the website of the State Service for Food Safety and Consumer Protection on Wednesday evening.

Representatives of the Ukrainian agribusiness called on international partners to stop supplying raw materials and ingredients for food production to the Russian Federation; agricultural machinery, equipment for the production of food products, parts and components for them; plant protection products, seeds and fertilizers; genetic material for animal husbandry; stop supporting software for the agricultural sector; make it impossible to deliver the packaging.

"Ukraine has experienced an unheard-of unprovoked military attack by the Russian Federation, unheard of in the modern world. Our country is courageously defending itself, every resident of the country is involved, and we, the food producers of Ukraine, are working on the verge of possibilities, providing our population with food. An act of gross violation of international law and values, decency and good neighborliness requires an appropriate response," they said in the appeal.

Representatives of the Ukrainian agribusiness reminded international partners of the need to jointly rebuff the Russian Federation, which strikes with ballistic missiles the residential areas of cities and towns, destroys civilian infrastructure, hospitals, kindergartens, uses banned vacuum and cluster weapons, threatens the world with nuclear weapons of the world, as well as seized a radioactively dangerous shelter of the Chornobyl nuclear power plant.

"We ask you to stop economic relations with your Russian partners. We ask all international professional associations to exclude representatives of Russian industry associations from their ranks and stop interacting with them! We understand your economic needs. However, please remember that Russia uses money for crimes against humanity" the Ukrainian business said in the appeal to international partners.
