Humanitarian center creates e-platform to collect proposals of assistance for Kyiv

Kyiv's Humanitarian center has created an electronic platform to collect proposals for assistance to the capital, Mayor Vitali Klitschko said.

"The capital is doing everything to ensure that our defenders, the fighters of the terroristic defense and the people of Kyiv who need help are provided with everything necessary. We have resolved the issues of providing for the military, now we must provide for their relatives and friends, residents of the capital who have remained at home or are in shelters. This is what the Humanitarian headquarters with experience of effective work during the first lockdown during the coronavirus pandemic," Klitschko said on his Telegram channel.

The mayor said that first of all, those who need it most, lonely old people, disabled people, mothers with small children, will be provided with medicines, food, and basic necessities.

"To collect aid and replenish the fund, I turned to large and medium-sized businesses, international organizations, foreign partners of Kyiv and Ukraine. Business has already started to help, cities of European and some Ukrainian cities are sending humanitarian aid," Klitschko said.

In addition, according to him, the headquarters has created an electronic platform through which everyone who has the opportunity can join with their proposals to support the city in the following areas: medicines; food; essentials; logistics services, human resources (volunteers).

"I call on everyone who wants and can provide assistance to respond. We must protect the people of Kyiv and provide the necessary for those residents of the city who need help more today," the mayor said.
