Holos demands abolition of ban on non-food products sale during upcoming quarantine

The Holos Party demands from the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine to lift restrictions of non-food products sale during the upcoming January lockdown and to reconsider the need for its implementation or mitigation in case of confirmation of the current downward trend in the incidence of coronavirus disease COVID-19.

"The Holos party demands that the government stops the practice of unreasonable bans and immediately lifts restrictions on the sale of non-food products during the January lockdown," the political force's website quoted leader of the Holos party Kira Rudyk on Tuesday.

At the same time, Rudyk reported on the need to increase the number of tests for COVID-19 virus to realistically assess the situation with the disease for coronavirus infection.

"If the current trend towards a decrease in the incidence is confirmed, it is advisable to consider an unscheduled easing or complete abolition of quarantine," Rudyk said.

As reported, the Cabinet of Ministers announced strengthening of quarantine measures in Ukraine on January 8-24.
