Border Guard Service confirms arrival of two oppositionists from Belarus to Ukraine, but not Kolesnikova

The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine refutes the information of the State Border Committee of Belarus about the arrival of three members of the Coordination Council of the Belarusian opposition to Ukraine from Belarus and reports that only two of them entered our country, namely, Anton Rodnenkov and Ivan Kravtsov, but Maria Kolesnikova did not arrive on Ukrainian checkpoint.

"Two citizens of the Republic of Belarus, Rodnenkov and Kravtsov, arrived at one of the Ukrainian checkpoints within Kyiv region to enter Ukraine. A citizen of the Republic of Belarus Kolesnikova did not arrive at the checkpoints of Ukraine to go through border control," Speaker of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine Andriy Demchenko told Interfax-Ukraine on Tuesday.

According to him, Rodnenkov and Kravtsov are currently "undergoing the necessary border control measures in accordance with the legislation determining the procedure for crossing the state border."

As reported, a day earlier, information about the disappearance of Kolesnikova became available in the media, Rodnenkov and Kravtsov did not get in touch. On Tuesday morning, some Telegram channels reported that they allegedly tried to break through the Belarusian-Ukrainian border, while Kolesnikova was detained.

After that, the State Border Committee of Belarus said that representatives of the Coordination Council of the Belarusian opposition, Kolesnikova, Rodnenkov and Kravtsov, were passing border control on the border with Ukraine, but later reported that Rodnenkov and Kravtsov had left the territory of Belarus, and Kolesnikova was detained.
