Ukraine records 1,061 new COVID-19 cases over day, 737 recovered, 26 new victims of virus
In Ukraine again, the number of new cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) disease exceeded 1,000 people. As of Tuesday morning, some 1,061 new COVID-19 cases were recorded, some 737 people recovered, some 26 people died, the website of the National Security and Defense Council's (NSDC) Coronavirus Epidemic Monitoring System (NSDC) reports.
A day earlier, on August 3, there were 990 new cases of COVID-19 disease, some 1,112 infected people were reported on August 2, some 1,172 cases were on August 1, an absolute anti-record of 1,197 new infected people was fixed on July 30 and some 1,022 new cases of COVID-19 disease were reported on July 29.
The number of people infected with a cumulative total since the beginning of the pandemic has reached 74,219 people on Tuesday morning, some 40,613 recovered, some 1,764 people have died since the beginning of the pandemic from COVID-19.
Now in Ukraine, some 31,842 people are sick with COVID-19, which are 298 people more than the day before.
The largest number of detected cases of COVID-19 over the past day was recorded in Lviv region (146), Kharkiv region (143), Ivano-Frankivsk region (127) and Kyiv (108).
