Zelensky finds out about Giuliani scandal from media – Razumkov
Dmytro Razumkov, an adviser to Ukrainian President-elect Volodymyr Zelensky says the latter learned about the scandal involving the visit of U.S. President Donald Trump's personal lawyer Rudolf ("Rudy") Giuliani from media, adding the misunderstanding involving U.S. representatives will be resolved.
"It’s amazing to learn that some of our colleagues, including some members of [Zelensky's] team (Ze!Team), allegedly commented to American media that there are some pitfalls. This is not true. Hopefully, this misunderstanding will be fixed in relations between Ze!Team and the U.S. administration," he said during the Freedom of Speech program aired by ICTV on Monday evening.
Razumkov said Zelensky learned from media that Giuliani had planned to visit Ukraine and cancelled his visit.
"Zelensky is ready to meet not only with official representatives of countries, but also meet with representatives of certain political forces, individuals who will be interested in further deepening relations between countries which are positively inclined and helping in our struggle for independence," Razumkov said.
