Parliament considering bill of constitutional amendments on Ukraine's integration into EU, NATO
The Verkhovna Rada on Thursday began to consider sending a presidential bill (No. 9037) to the Constitutional Court on amending the country's main law in terms of strengthening Ukraine's strategic course for membership in the European Union and NATO.
According to an Interfax-Ukraine reporter, Andriy Parubiy, speaker of the Verkhovna Rada, announced the consideration of this issue at a morning plenary meeting on Thursday. The main clauses of the legislative initiative were then read out from the rostrum of parliament by the president's representative in the Verkhovna Rada, Iryna Lutsenko.
Parliamentarians are currently discussing various points of this draft law.
