Bloc of Petro Poroshenko candidates for post of territorial community chairmen win in 26 communities

The Bloc of Petro Poroshenko Solidarity party has won elections to 20 merged territorial communities, according to the results of concurrent vote counting, the party's press service has said.

"During the first elections to the merged territorial communities, which took place on April 29, the Bloc of Petro Poroshenko Solidarity party achieved a convincing victory. According to the concurrent vote counting conducted by the parties' headquarters, the party candidates win the elections in 26 out of the 40 communities. That is, 65% are promotees, party members or candidates supported by the Bloc of Petro Poroshenko Solidarity party. Of these, two are urban merged territorial communities, eight are town territorial communities and 16 are rural," the report says.

According to the party, other political forces showed much lower results, in particular, the Batkivschyna party got into one territorial community, Nash Kray also one, the Opposition Bloc one, the Agrarian Party one, and the Radical Party also one.

The candidates from the Solidarity party will head the majority of territorial communities in Zaporizhia region (four), Kirovohrad region (three), and Kharkiv region (three).

"The party got a 100% result in Ternopil region," the press service stressed.
