Ukrainian airborne troops, tankers participating in Combined Resolve X military exercises
Soldiers of the 79th separate landing and assault brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and a tank platoon of 14th separate mechanized brigades will take part in the international exercises Combined Resolve X, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has said.
"About 3,700 servicemen from 13 NATO member countries and NATO partners are taking part in the event this year. The Ukrainian air assault company will be equipped with BTR-80s, and the tankers will participate with five T-84 tanks," Poroshenko said on his Facebook page Wednesday morning.
Earlier in the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine said Ukrainian military and equipment arrived at the military training ground near the city of Hohenfels (Federal Republic of Germany) to participate in the international exercises Combined Resolve X.
Combined Resolve is a multinational exercise that is conducted by the U.S. Armed Forces in Europe twice a year during the rotation of parts of the U.S. Army.
