Rada ratifies treaty with Thailand on mutual legal assistance in criminal cases
The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has ratified the agreement between Ukraine and Thailand on mutual legal assistance in criminal cases.
Some 226 people's deputies voted for relevant law No. 0171, an Interfax-Ukraine correspondent reported.
According to the agreement, the states of Ukraine and Thailand provide each other with mutual legal assistance, in connection with investigation, prosecution and other proceedings related to criminal cases, regardless of whether such assistance is requested or provided by the court or other competent body.
As reported, the agreement between Ukraine and the Kingdom of Thailand on mutual legal assistance in criminal cases was signed in Bangkok on June 5, 2017.
