ATO HQ reports 1 WIA amid three enemy attacks in past 24 hours
Over the past day, the militants opened fire on the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces three times, as a result of shelling one Ukrainian soldier was wounded, the press center of the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) headquarters has reported.
"Russia's hybrid military forces carried out three attacks on Ukraine forces' positions in Donbas in the past 24 hours, with one Ukrainian soldier reported as wounded in action. He was promptly taken to a military hospital and provided with the necessary medical assistance," the ATO staff said on Facebook on Thursday morning.
In the Luhansk sector, the enemy provoked the Ukrainian defenders from small arms near the villages of Stanytsia Luhanska and Kriakivka.
In the Donetsk and Mariupol sectors, the invaders fired 120mm and 82mm mortars near the village of Lebedynske.
The report says that the Ukrainian soldiers did not return fire and strictly adhered to the Minsk agreements.
