Rada upholds at first reading election code draft by Parubiy, group of deputies

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has upheld at the first reading draft bill No. 3112-1 "Draft Electoral Code of Ukraine" by the authorship of a group of people's deputies headed by Parliament Speaker Andriy Parubiy.

Some 226 people's deputies voted in favor of this bill at the first reading at the plenary session on Tuesday.
