Ukrainian foreign minister says there is no agreement to hold Normandy format summit

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin said there is no agreement to hold a Normandy Four summit.
"At present, there is no agreement about a meeting on the highest level in the 'Normandy format'," Klimkin told reporters in Kyiv on Wednesday.
Whether a meeting will be held depends not on a timetable, but on whether agreements are reached about "the real result" of such a meeting, he said.
"And the real result for us, since Russia is trying to twist the whole logic of Minsk, is to agree on the roadmap which boils down to three key areas: security, the logic of steps necessary from the standpoint of politics, and the release of hostages and political detainees," the minister said.
In the absence of such a roadmap and of an understanding how to negotiate it, there is no logic in holding the meeting, the foreign minister said.
