Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk says he is ready to take any political decisions to form a parliamentary coalition and a new government.

"I'm ready for any political decisions for the sake of stability in the country, to form a coalition and a new Cabinet, appoint a new prime minister and let the new government work," he said at a government meeting in Kyiv on Wednesday.

In his words, he as prime minister and his parliamentary faction, the People's Front, for the first time are dealing with "gathering a coalition to form a new Cabinet, appoint a new prime minister and approve a new program."

"This is something new in Ukraine's political life. But I'm ready for any political solutions for the sake of stability in the country, for new investment, for the International Monetary Fund's ongoing program for Ukraine, further support by Western partners and real changes to be seen by the Ukrainian people," he said.

Political stability is needed to facilitate reform, draw investors into Ukraine and encourage economic growth in Ukraine, he added.
