Businessman close to mayor Kernes killed in Kharkiv

Businessman Yuriy Diment was killed in Kharkiv on Friday morning, an informed source told Interfax-Ukraine.

Diment was shot dead at a cemetery where his mother was buried, the source said.

Diment was close to the Kharkiv city mayor, Hennadiy Kernes. According to local media, he and parliamentarian Mykhailo Dobkin, had organized a fundraiser among local business people for Kernes' operation in Israel.
