Ukrainian troops in the Luhansk region are waiting for an order to begin the withdrawal of weapons under 100mm in caliber, press officer of the army operation in the Luhansk region Ruslan Tkachuk has said.

"In the Luhansk region, for instance, preparations have been completed to pull back T-64 and T-72 tanks, 85mm D-48 and D-44 anti-tank cannons, and 82mm 2B-9 mortars. Lists of armaments and armored vehicles, their routes and amassment sites have been composed and approved together with members of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission. Troops are on standby, they are waiting for an order to begin the physical stage of the arms withdrawal," says a report published on Tkachuk's official website on Monday morning.

He said that the Ukrainian military units participating in the operation in the Luhansk region had been given 14 days to do what was required by the additions to the Minsk agreements.

"The first stage of the arms withdrawal is due to begin today. This is a two-way process to be carried out under the watchful eye of OSCE monitoring officers and invited media representatives," Tkachuk said.
