Boryspil airport pays UAH 76 mln in dividends, profit tax

Boryspil International Airport state enterprise (Kyiv) in January-June 2015 paid UAH 75.9 million in dividends and profit tax to the national budget, the airport's press service has reported.

The airport said it had paid dividends for Q4 2013 in the amount of UAH 9.2 million.

"The total sum of payments sent by Boryspil airport to the national and local budgets since early 2015 reached UAH 31.8 million," the airport said.

In H1 2015 the airport realized several projects: the airport has introduced a plan to stimulate air transportation thanks to the use of the transit potential of the airport, which increased revenue by 59%, and a set of measures to cut the cash cost has been realized, allowing the airport to make profit in the first half of the year for the first time in three years.

Boryspil International Airport is the largest airport in Ukraine with a total occupied area of about 1,000 hectares. The company has two runways: one with a length of 4,000 meters and a width of 60 meters, the other – 3,500 meters long and 63 meters wide. The airport has four passenger terminals and a post-cargo complex.
