Poroshenko hopes OSCE SMM will help implement Minsk agreements

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko hopes that the special monitoring mission of the OSCE will help the parties to return to the implementation of the Minsk agreements to resolve the situation in the east of the country.

"I am confident that unbiased approach of the OSCE mission will help counteract the further escalation of the situation and further uncontrolled border crossing. I count on the fact that the OSCE mission will be able to restore the implementation of the Minsk agreements that are currently so important not only for Ukraine. The implementation of the Minsk agreements is extremely important at the moment," the president said when handing over ten armored vehicles to the mission.
