Justice ministry to buy law services to protect Ukraine's interests in foreign jurisdictions for some claims

The cabinet of ministers of Ukraine has permitted the Justice Ministry to purchase law services linked to the protection of rights and interests of the country during the hearing of some cases with the participation of foreign entities and Ukraine in foreign jurisdictions.

According to cabinet resolution No. 595 of June 25, 2014, the Justice Ministry will buy law services to protect Ukraine's interest under a claim filed by Torno Global Contracting S.P.A. and Beta Funding S.R.L. against the Transport and Communications Ministry and the State Road Service, under a claim filed by Universal Trading& Investment Co., Inc. and Foundation Honesty International, Inc. Against the Prosecutor General's Office, Justice Ministry and Ukraine, under a claim of Sinequanon Invest (Luxemburg) against Ukraine and under a claim of OJSC Tatnafta against Ukraine.

The Justice Ministry will buy law services to protect the interests under claims submitted by Korlea Invest, a.s. and Ukrenergy Trade ZRT against Ukrinterenergo, National Energy Company Ukrenergo and the Energy and Coal Industry Ministry of Ukraine, under claims filed by City-State N.V., Praktika asset management company LLC, Kristall-Invest, Prodiz against Ukraine and under claims filed by Ukraine against Bosch International Inc. and B&P Ltd. and Hungarian Medical Center (Pecs, Hungary).
