The creation of a single party is possible only if members of the Front for Change Party join the Batkivschyna Party.

"Activity [in the process of talks on the creation of a single party] goes from the leadership of the Front for Change Party," a source in the Batkivschyna Party told Interfax-Ukraine.

According to the source, the Batkivschyna Party is insisting that the unification of the party should take place through accession to the Batkivschyna Party.

The source said that there were attempts by the Front for Change Party to speed up the unification process.

He also noted that Batkivschyna was insisting that other parties decide on joining Batkivschyna as the largest opposition political party.

The source said that the issue of creating a single political party was currently at the stage of discussing the principles of such a union.
