Doctors from the German Charite Clinic could arrive in Kharkiv on October 2 to continue the treatment course of former Ukrainian Premier Yulia Tymoshenko, according to a member of the international commission under the Health Ministry of Ukraine and Director of the Professor M. Sytenko Institute of Spine and Joint Pathology (Kharkiv) Mykola Korzh.

"The German doctors are to arrive tomorrow. Doctor Anett Reisshauer is most likely to come. This will be a scheduled visit to the patient," Korzh told journalists on Monday.

According to him, German and Ukrainian doctors in charge of Tymoshenko's treatment will hold a meeting.

When asked whether Ukrainian doctors would recommend their German colleagues to discharge Tymoshenko, Korzh said: "We can only discuss, and not recommend. The German experts are in charge of her treatment, only they can raise such issues, and I cannot say anything about results of such discussions."

As reported, on Monday Tymoshenko's lawyer read aloud her statement saying that the State Penitentiary Service of Ukraine has given the ex-premier a document on the completion of her treatment and discharge from hospital.
