Zelenskyys couple and foreign delegations honor memory of those killed in Bucha

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and First Lady Olena Zelenska honored the memory of those killed in Bucha on the third anniversary of the town’s liberation from Russian occupiers.
As reported by the press service of the head of state, the presidential couple installed lamps at the memorial located on the territory of the Church of St. Andrew the First-Called and All Saints of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine.
The leaders and representatives of the parliaments of Belgium, Great Britain, Denmark, Estonia, Iceland, Spain, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovenia, Finland, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Sweden, and the European Parliament also took part in the commemoration.
In addition, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, Head of the President’s Office Andriy Yermak and representatives of local authorities were present.
"Three years ago, our soldiers liberated Bucha from the Russian occupiers. And the world saw what Russian occupation is. Killed people on the streets. Tortured people. Graves in the yards of ordinary houses. Since then, no one in the world can say that they do not know what exactly Ukraine is defending. Ukraine is fighting for the lives of its people. So that no one on our land ever does what the Russian occupiers did," Olena Zelenska's Telegram channel reports.
"Eternal memory to all whose lives were taken by the Russian war! Eternal gratitude to all our people who defend Ukraine!" the First Lady emphasized.
