Finland transfers personal protective equipment, chemical detectors to Ukraine
Finland has sent aid to Ukraine with personal protective equipment and chemical detectors from its European Union stockpiles, the country's Interior Ministry reported.
The Finnish Interior Ministry noted that this is the first time the country has transferred this aid from the rescue equipment financed by the European Union.
The cargo, which came from the EU rescuers' storage, includes both reusable and disposable equipment for hygiene and safety reasons.
The aid has been collected for the needs of rescue operations in Ukraine.
The Finnish Interior Ministry also added that Ukraine can use these supplies to respond to chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear emergencies.
