President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Monday signed Law of Ukraine No. 4114-IX of December 4, 2024 on receiving compensation for destroyed property by internally displaced persons (IDPs) under the e Recovery program.

In particular, internally displaced persons will receive a priority right to housing certificates, according to the criteria determined by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. In addition, the law provides for the possibility of directing about UAH 15 billion of the remaining budget funds for 2024 to the eRecovery program, the Verkhovna Rada Telegram channel reports.

As previously reported, according to the law, persons of retirement age are the first to apply for compensation for destroyed housing; citizens who have a dependent child under six years of age, two minor children or a child with a disability, as well as single parents raising a child under 14 years of age and persons with a disability of group three.
