Ukrainian air defense shoots down 18 enemy UAVs, two missiles at night
The enemy used two guided aerial missiles from the airspace over the Black Sea, 37 Shahed-type attack UAVs and other types of drones in night air attacks (launch areas: Orel, Primorsko-Akhtarsk - RF), the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said in a report as of 08:00 on Monday.
"As of 08:00, units of the anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare and mobile fire groups of the Air Force and the Defense Forces of Ukraine shot down two X-59/69 guided aviation missiles and 18 enemy UAVs in Sumy, Poltava, Dnipropetrovsk, Chernihiv, Vinnytsia, Khmelnytsky, Rivne, Ternopil and Odesa regions. Eighteen drones are locally lost, one is in the air. Combat work continues," the General Staff said.
It is also reported that due to the fall of downed enemy UAVs in Vinnytsia region, the infrastructure of several private enterprises has been damaged.
